Red River Paper Company Reviews

I bought several sample packs for art prints and trading cards. Red River papers are comparable to Moab and Hahnemuhle papers with some slight differences in color and texture; it all comes down to preference. However, Red River paper is less costly and provides ICC Profiles for my printer, the Epson Eco Tank 8500. Moab, Hahnemuhle, and even Epson (some papers, but not all) do not carry ICC profiles for the Eco Tank. Overall, papers retain color well and prints are sharp. Favorite papers include 60lb. Polar Matte and Aurora Art (comparable to Moab's Entrada Rag).

I love this paper! It has become a staple with my photographic practice. If you have images that you want to add a softer atmosphere to I suggest this paper.

I didn't realize Red River also carried ink and accessories. When my Canon Pro-1000 needed a replacement maintenance cartridge the Internet was not kind. They've been back ordered from Canon for months. Scammers were selling this $15 item on eBay for $200! The Pro-1000 became a brick and my print business came to a standstill. After searching for days I finally found that Red River had them in stock AND at the normal price. They even allowed me to buy two so it won't happen again.

While searching for photographic paper, after a brief conversation with another photographer, I found Red River. I purchased some sample packs and can not wait to try them. I was very impressed with their packaging. and professional appearance of the contents. Now to select the proper image to try the samples.

I love the Polar White, prints look great and the weight is very nice, will be ordering more soon, the company is a first class operation as well.

Entering into the arena of photographic printing, I had heard people reference their experiences with Red River Paper. I ordered their sample kits and found the ordering process easy to navigate. The sample kits arrived and each came with a letter from Drew. Calibrated the monitor, loaded the ICC profiles and chose 2 reference photographs to use as base line references. The varying finishes, textures and colour differences these have been used to create a personal catalog for future ordering. I would not hesitate to recommend Red River Paper to anyone after this first experience

Red River Paper is the best I've ever used! Polar Matte, Polar Metallic, Polar Gloss and I can't wait to try more. The sample pack(s) are a good introduction to the products. I most recently replenished my printer ink from Red River. In stock and quickly shipped.

I am so happy I've found your company and so very happy with the paper products I've purchased so far. The one thing I do wish you carried is a paper like the Palo Duro Etching 315 but in a bright white. I love the woven look of the paper, it makes reproductions of my watercolor paintings look lovely but would be better with a brighter white rather than a natural white. I use the Aurora Art White 300® and the Aurora Art White 250® which do a fantastic job with the colors of my paintings but wish I had something with that "pop" of colors but with a little more watercolor look to it. If there is any chance of selling anything like that in the future, please let me know. In the meantime, I am loving what I'm using now and am grateful for your product. Thank you!

This was my first time printing with Red River paper, and I'm absolutely planning to continue printing with it in the future. I used mine for creating prints of my artwork, and they turned out beautifully!
