Red River Paper introduced Paper Canvas 230 to replace 60lb. Paper Canvas.
The facility that textured the original Paper Canvas went out of business in 2021. We now have the texturing done in the United States.
Paper Canvas 230 is the same base stock with a slightly different texture.
As you can see from the images below, the new texture is more defined and has slightly larger ridges compared to the original.

About Paper Canvas
Paper Canvas 230 is a matte photo paper with a canvas like texture. The texture of Paper Canvas is subtle, yet will add an extra dimension to images and artwork. Being made of 100% alpha-cellulose paper stock, you can use Red River Paper Canvas for a variety of projects such as portfolios, photo books, greeting cards, and more.
Paper Canvas has a photo matte coating of the highest quality suitable for dye and pigment inks. The back is plain paper so you can print text and light graphics on that side.

This product is not woven canvas. It is made from paper stock.
