Introducing the Epson SureColor P800
Large 80ml capacity ink cartridges make the SureColor P800 Printer a serious option for both the home and studio professional seeking prints up to 17" wide by 10' in length. The SureColor P800 Printer offers robust media handling options from thicker canvas and fine art prints to extremely high quality photos. The P800 is designed to replace Epson's 3880 and expand on the printer by adding a roll feed and using HD Inks for enhanced color and light and dark areas of black and white prints.
Prints on the Epson SureColor P800 are extremely detailed in terms of color, gradations and image sharpness. The advanced black and white print mode will appeal to users that prefer monochrome prints while the inclusion of a Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta cartridges ensure color enthusiasts aren't left out in the dark.
The roll adapter option for the SureColor P800 is available for those looking to create panorama prints up to 17” wide by 10’ in length and 1.5mm in thickness. Additionally, the media adapter gives users the option of using a 2" core roll canvas and 3" for fine art, photo and proofing papers. This add-on for roll users of the P800 Printer can be added at any point in time and will allow for prints from 13"-17" wide and 10' in length. There is no automatic cutting tool with the roll media adapter. This means manual cutting of paper and other media is required.
The SureColor P800 Features an 9-color pigment-based ink cartridges with high quality black density and print permanence. Photos printed with the P800 Printer are expected to have extremely high archivability ratings to make sure your prints last well beyond a lifetime or two.
Epson's SureColor P800 utilizes a MicroPiezo AMC print head, UltraChrome HD Pigment-based Ink set and optional media roll feed which make this printer more than capable of handling photographic and fine art prints for an assortment of print professionals.
